Student Financial Aid (SFA)
Financial aid to pursue undergraduate studies at Ohio State is available in a wide variety of forms – loans, grants, scholarships and federal work-study jobs. Learn more about The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) financial aid options and Ohio State Student Financial Aid. To be eligible to compete for most forms of financial aid, students must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. Be sure to check the deadlines for filing the FASFA below. You can still file the FAFSA after the Ohio State priority deadline, but you may be limited in the amount of aid you receive. Please indicate The Ohio State University (code #003090) on step six on the FAFSA application to ensure that you are considered for funding for your enrollment at Ohio State.

The College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) and departments within the college offer over $2.8 million in scholarships to students each year. In addition to CFAES scholarships, AEDE also offers a number of scholarships to students within our department who have declared as Agribusiness and Applied Economics (AAE) major by Spring semester. Students receiving aid from CFAES and AEDE must reapply every year to continue to receive scholarship funds, and students who have not previously received scholarships from the College or School are welcome to apply each year. You can still file the CFAES scholarship application after the priority deadline, but you will not be eligible for AEDE scholarships, and may be limited in considersation for CFAES scholarships.
For the 2022-2023 academic year, AEDE offered 25 undergraduate students more than $60,000 in scholarship funds.
