  4. AEDE Awards $59,000 in Scholarships for 2012-2013 Academic Year

    Thanks to the generosity of our donors, $59,000 in scholarships were awarded to 25 undergraduate students in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics for the 2012-2013 academic year. Congratulations to our scholarship recipients!

  5. 2012 Agribusiness/NAMA Club Annual Banquet Honorees

    The 2012 Agribusiness/NAMA Club Annual Banquet was held on Thursday, April 5th, at The Fawcett Center on the OSU Columbus campus.   A number of awards were presented. Shannon Horn received the Outstanding Senior award. The Outstanding First Year Member went to Levi Morrow and Kristin Kugler was named Outstanding Transfer Student. Barry Ward, club advisor, was chosen as Outstanding Professor.

  7. Agricultural Economics among 10 college majors with lowest unemployment rates

    According to data from the Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce, 98.7% of college graduates who majored in Agricultural Economics are currently employed.  Of the 10 college majors with the lowest unemployment rates, Agricultural Economics ranks 7th.

  9. Professor Jones wins Bill Williams Diversity Award

    Eugene Jones, winner of the individual 2011 Bill Williams Diversity Award, was recognized at the CFAES Recognition Banquet held May 19th at the Ohio Union. This award recognizes individuals and groups who have contributed to diversity and inclusion efforts within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
