The goals of the workshop are:
- Introduction to economic contribution analysis and efforts to standardize procedures across states - Speaker is Leah English of the University of Arkansas
- Discuss best practices for measuring economic contributions of the agricultural sector - Speaker is Professor Emeritus Thomas Johnson, the Frank Miller Professor of Agricultural and Applied Economics and Professor in the Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs, University of Missouri. Johnson is Director of Rural Policy Research Institute’s Analytic and Academic Programs.
