The Farm Income Enhancement Program, chaired by Dr. Ani Katchova, is one of the largest programs in the Department supported by the Farm Income Enhancement Endowment.  For graduate students, there are opportunities to become part of the Farm Income Enhancement Program and receive Research Assistantship.

Graduate Research Assistantship

A graduate research assistant position in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at The Ohio State University. The expectations are to conduct research on economic and financial issues in Agriculture or Agribusiness that contributes to journal publications and a dissertation.  Research will be on economic and financial topics applied to agriculture in the U.S.  In addition to research/dissertation expectations and based on your interests, opportunities exist for outreach activities with industry and stakeholders. You will be associated with and contribute to programmatic needs of the Farm Income Enhancement Program: http://aede.osu.edu/research/farm-income-enhancement-program. You will be working with Dr. Ani Katchova: http://aede.osu.edu/our-people/ani-katchova.
