Mission
The Environmental Policy Initiative specifically focuses on three substantive policy areas:

Our mission is accomplished through a number of different avenues, including, but not limited to the following: Providing funds and encouragement for graduate dissertation prospectuses, as well as research seed grants, that deal with the above policy issues. Supporting graduate student travel to conferences where the student is presenting original research on environmental issues. Contacting and hosting distinguished lecturers at OSU on environmental policy. Financing and coordinating working groups that pursue research in the above policy areas. Hosting interdisciplinary conferences on environmental policy issues that include not only academia, but also government, non-governmental organizations and non-profits, as well as the private sector.
