Soumyajit is a PhD student in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at The Ohio State University. Prior to joining OSU, he worked at the International Food Policy Research Institute on research related to agriculture, nutrition, and social protection. He also has experience in development consulting with the Clinton Health Access Initiative and Oxford Policy Management, contributing to projects in public finance and health economics. Additionally, he has held research positions with India’s central bank and treasury, supporting policy analysis on macroeconomic issues. His research interests include applying behavioral and experimental methods to health economics, environmental economics, and public economics.
