She holds a M.Sc. in Economics from IGIDR and Bachelor of Commerce from University of Delhi and has previously worked with CRISIL (a credit rating agency) and Ernst & Young. Before joining the AEDE department, she was working at International Food Policy research Institute (IFPRI) as a research analyst. At IFPRI, she was involved in two evaluations - Women Improving Nutrition through Groups based Strategies (WINGS) and JEEVIKA and was primarily engaged in studying the role of women’s self-help groups in improving maternal and child’s nutrition and women’s empowerment outcomes.
