Samuel Yu Shing Cheng

Samuel is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at the Ohio State University. His research focuses on environmental issues in the developing world using geospatial data. He is currently working on two projects in the Liberian context. The first working paper aims to examine the impact of deforestation and forest fragmentation on malaria incidence in rural populations. The second working paper examines the impact of the establishment of commercial logging units on forest cover loss.
