Profile TabsProfileRichard (Dick) DuvickAssociate Professor Emeritus duvick.1@hotmail.com614-284-8666Professional InformationBiography: A native of Illinois, Dr. Duvick received two degrees from the University of Illinois: a BS Degree in agriculture in 1955 and an MS degree in agricultural economics in 1964. In 1970 he received a PhD from Michigan State University. Dick was employed by the Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture for six and a half years prior to joining Ohio State faculty in 1971. He served as Associate Professor and Associate Chairperson for Extension in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology at OSU prior to his retirement in 1995. While at Ohio State he had a joint appointment in Extension and teaching with major areas of interest in taxation, farm records, financial management, and costs of production.
