Her research interests include development economics and environmental economics with applications in human welfare, inequality & poverty, agriculture, deforestation, and conflict. Her work also utilizes and explores themes from political science. One of the projects she is working on involves evaluating the unintended effect of an anti-deforestation policy in Brazil on the conflict levels in Legal Amazon area.
