WrightAssociate Professor Emeritus plwright820@yahoo.com614-271-1810Professional InformationBiography: Paul Wright grew up on a general livestock farm in Coshocton County, Ohio and was active in Vocational Agriculture, FFA, 4-H and his church. His undergraduate degree in agricultural education (1960) and MS in agricultural economics (1970) were both earned from Ohio State. He earned a law degree from the University of Toledo in 1978. In 1960, he began working for the Ohio Cooperative Extension Service in Madison County and Clinton County as a 4-H agent. He then worked in Fremont, Ohio as a Farm Management Area Extension Agent. Finally, he moved to work on the Ohio State campus in Columbus in an Extension Agricultural Law position. Upon retirement from Ohio State, he started up a law office and was active in that practice from 1988 through 2011. In 2012, he became “of counsel” to the law firm and began working part-time. Paul is married to Sue Wright and they live in Dublin, Ohio. His two children live in Columbus, one works in the banking industry and one is a massage therapist. He has six grandchildren and enjoys his time with them and their families. Paul continues to be active in his church.
