Mitchell Livy

My research investigates the role of environmental amenities on residential sorting behaviors. Each of my projects builds on the economic theory underlying consumer behavior and residential location choice, and incorporates both methodological and policy improvements on the current literature. In my dissertation, I use a variety of econometric methods to measure the role of time-varying environmental attributes and spatial scale on the welfare of home buyers.
