Dr. Tweeten earned is BS degree from Iowa State University; his MS degree from Oklahoma State University; and his PhD from Iowa State University. He is Emeritus Chaired Professor of Agricultural Policy and Trade at Ohio State where he was on the AEDE faculty from 1988 to 2000. He is editor of five books and author or co-author of 10 books and over 500 journal articles and published papers. His three most recent books are Terrorism, Radicalism, and Populism in Agriculture, The World Food Economy, and Prescription for a Successful Economy: The Standard Economic Model. He is a former President and a current Fellow of the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association. His awards include the Charles Black Award from CAST, the Henry A. Wallace Distinguished Alumni Award from Iowa State University College of Agriculture, the Distinguished Scholar Award from The Ohio State University, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Agricultural Economics Association.
