Kunxin received an undergraduate degree in Physics from theNankai University. During his undergraduate career, he worked as an intern at the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy. After graduation, he changed his major to environmental economics and received his master degree at Duke University. Aligning with his master thesis, his current research interest focuses on human migration related to climate change, and how it influences coastal communities.
