Junyoung received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Korea University, and master’s degree in economics from Seoul National University. Prior to studying applied economics, he worked as an electrical and control system engineer in energy and heavy industries. Among the projects he participated in were Alamo 1 Solar PV Plant Project in San Antonio, TX, and Hanbit and Hanul Nuclear Power Plant overhaul and maintenance projects in South Korea.
