During her graduate studies at Tufts University, she completed her master thesis on the analysis of emission leakage of the Acid Rain Program. After graduation, she worked at the World Bank as a consultant for two years, contributing to research on the European Union's Common Agricultural Policy, Global Subnational Geodatabase and Early Childhood Development.
