He then worked as a research assistant through the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs where he studied the effect of UNESCO cultural heritage sites on tourism employment, and the hollowing out of the U.S. labor market. Belleville has also completed research on food deserts and food allocation. This past summer, he interned with the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) and researched trends in R&D funding in the private sector, and the impact dairy dumping as a method of price control during the COVID-19 pandemic.
