Dr. Henderson received his BS degree in agriculture from Ohio State in 1965; he earned his PhD degree in agricultural economics from Michigan State University in 1971. Since retiring from the Ohio State faculty, he has served as the Chief of Market Economics at USDA's Economic Research Service; as an Adjunct Professor in Economics at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington; and as a Lecturer at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute at Zaragoza in Spain. Currently, he is a Counselor with the AARP Foundation VITA program.
