Dr. Forster retired in 2007 from full-time duties at AEDE after 33 years of service. He taught undergraduate and graduate courses in microeconomics, agribusiness finance, and agribusiness management. He advised undergraduate and graduate students and conducted research on issues related to farms, agribusinesses, and the environment. His administrative responsibilities included serving as the department's Undergraduate Program Leader (2000-2006) and Associate Chair for Research and Graduate Studies (1990-1995). He earned his BS and MS degress from Purdue University, and he received his PhD from Michigan State University.
