Professor Mario Miranda recently accepted his AAEA 2017 Fellow Award at AAEA's award ceremony in Chicago, Illionois. During his acceptance speech, he shared that he has enjoyed his nearly 30 years working as an agricultural economist, researcher and teacher. The profession has allowed him to collaborate with collegues from all over the nation and the world.
"What I have valued most over the years is the very special relationships I have established with my doctoral advisees," shared Miranda. I have truly enjoyed helping mentor and develop young professionsals and sharing and working with people is the most rewarding thing of this profession."
