MAE Job Market Panel 2024

Feb. 23, 2024

The MAE job market panel brings together current and prospective MAE students and seasoned professionals with extensive recruiting and executive experience. It’s a platform for industry experts to offer practical advice to MAE students navigating the job market, including tips on structuring resumes, skill showcasing, interview etiquette, negotiation strategies, and professional conduct. The panel is also a great opportunity for prospective students to find out if the MAE is the right program for them.  Besides industry representatives, the panel prominently features former MAE students in leadership roles at various organizations in order to provide current students with additional networking opportunities and insights from the perspective of the job seeker. This tradition has been instrumental in bridging the gap between academia and industry. Attendees leave the event equipped with an enhanced understanding of the MAE program and the array of employment opportunities it provides.

This year, the employers who attended included:

  • JP Morgan Chase (represented by the Vice President of Portfolio Risk Modeling)
  • Huntington National Bank (Senior-Vice President, Quantitative Risk Modeling and Analytics Managing Director)
  • Department of Medicaid (Chief Economist)
  • Nationwide (Senior Economist)
  • American Electric Power (Principal Economist)
  • Dairy Farmers of America (Commodity Risk Management Analyst)
  • Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainable (Quantitative Analyst)
