The Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics (AEDE) is excited to welcome our newest faculty member, Associate Professor Anne Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick received her PhD in dual degrees of Economics and Public Policy from the University of Michigan. Fitzpatrick’s research focuses on health and education topics in developing countries, with a particular emphasis on women and children.
Fitzpatrick specializes in conducting randomized evaluations aimed at testing policies to improve health care and education quality, with the goal of improving the well-being of individuals worldwide.
