AEDE Graduates Students Win Graduate Paper Competitions

PhD student Sydney Schreiner was a finalist in the North American Regional Science Council's (NARSC) twentieth-annual Benjamin H. Stevens Graduate Fellowship in Regional Science. Her paper,  (top "Gentrification and Schools” came in at number three out of twenty-four papers).  Schreiner will receive special recognition at the NARSC's 20th Annual Fall Conference.

PhD Student Brandon Genetin won the Southern Regional Science Association's (SRSA) Barry M. Moriarty Graduate Paper Competition for Best Student Paper for “Field-of-Study Mismatch and the Impact on Regional Economic Growth.”  He will present the paper at SRSA's virtual fall conference.
