The Annual International Meeting of the Economic Science Association was held July 7-10 at the Booth Business School at the University of Chicago. Paula Cordero Salas, a recent PhD graduate, presented “Bargaining Power in Relational Contracts: An Experimental Study,” Greg Howard, a PhD student, presented “Are All Discount Rates Created Equal? Experimental Evidence on Social and Personal Discount Rates,“ and Masters student Anup Gampa presented “Do Social Preferences Change in Response to Substance Abuse Treatment? Evidence from an Ohio Therapeutic Community,“ which is joint work with Brian Roe and with Jessica Linley and Keith Warren of OSU’s School of Social Work.
