Former Ohio State University (then) College of Agriculture alumni Jim Chambers is to receive the honor of the Distinguished Alumni Award this year at Ohio State University's homecoming on October 6th at the 4-H Center. Chambers graduated in 1989 from Ohio State University and has had major impacts in the world of agriculture in Ohio since. As an alumnus, Chambers has helped the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) by spearheading creation of a partnership between CFAES and Trimble to create the first agriculture-specific Trimble Technology Lab. This partnership will benefit students and faculty at Ohio State and advancement of Ohio agriculture by supporting research and teaching of cutting-edge agricultural technologies.
