AlumConnect with Dr. Wendong Zhang

Join the Graduate Student Association (GSA) as they host a conversation with AEDE PhD alum, Dr. Wendong Zhang ('15). He will be discussing his PhD journey and providing advice to current students on navigating the job market, followed by a Q&A.

Dr. Zhang is currently on the faculty at Iowa State University, where he created a nationally recognized extension program that addresses a unique mix of both domestic and international issues in agriculture. Dr. Zhang has been integral in the creation of the Center for China-US Agricultural Economics and Policy and oversees the Iowa Land Value Survey.

Dr. Zhang recently received a Young Professional Alumni achievement award from the College of Food Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) at Ohio State.
