CRAE provides an excellent platform for graduate students, post-docs, and researchers from a variety of Midwestern universities to gather and share ideas, seek and provide feedback, and foster collaboration in the fields of regional studies, economic geography, urban economics, and applied economics in general.

With internationally recognized field experts like Dr. Phillip McCann, Dr. Neil Reid, and Dr. Linda Lobao as speakers, we are confident this conference will be a wonderful place to present your research ideas and products!

Specifically, we are looking for completed research, research in progress, and research announcements in any of the topics listed below:

Abstract Guidelines:

The deadline for abstract submission is March 20, 2013Submitting your abstract is the third and final step in the CRAE registration process.

Please submit a one-page, double spaced prospectus which provides a clear explanation of what will be presented at this conference. All authors should include in the abstract a discussion of 1) the statement of the problem, 2) the relevance of the topic and research goals, 3) data and methodology, 4) expected results and implications.

All abstracts from work presented at the conference will be made publicly available on this website.
