Economic and Demographic Impacts of Tax Abatement Zones on Franklin County Communities

This is the final report on economic and demographic impacts of tax abatement zones on Franklin County Communities, based on the original 2021 study which examined whether abatements are an attractive marketing tool for sellers to utilize and do buyers, on average, pay more for homes with a property tax abatement than for a similar home in a similar neighborhood without an abatement. This report continues the orignal research as of January 2023.
