    Professor Elena Irwin will speak at George Washington University's Urban Planning Research Symposium on Friday, December 6, 2013. The gathering will focus on Land Use & Resiliency.  Dr. Irwin's area of specialization is land use economics and human-natural systems. Her research focuses on spatial modeling of land use and the development of integrated models of land use and ecosystem services at local and regional scales.

The focus of the meeting will be on jobs. Program staff will help students to prepare for job and internship applications, as well as answer career questions.
