    The Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics (AEDE) at The Ohio State University is organizing the Midwest Graduate Student Conference on Regional and Applied Economics (CRAE), which will be held on the campus of Ohio State on Friday and Saturday, April 5 and 6, 2013.

    Students enrolled in the Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability (EEDS) major will meet on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Room 105 of the Agricultural Administration Building (2120 Fyffe Road). The EEDS major is a multi-disciplinary degree program that focuses on the human dimensions of sustainability. This cutting-edge major provides the core knowledge and skills students need to launch a career in sustainability in the private, public or non-profit sectors.

    The Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics (AEDE) offers on average over $50,000 in scholarship money each year to the department's undergraduate students. The scholarship money comes from a group of more than 20 dedicated funders. We are very grateful to these companies and individuals for their committment to educational opportunity at AEDE. The competition for funding for the 2013-2014 academic year will be held on April 2, 2013.
