Voters Invited: Ohio State Economists Discuss Presidential Election Oct. 3 COLUMBUS, Ohio — There has been considerable rhetoric around key issues in the upcoming presidential election, but much less analysis of their potential economic impact.  

Foods with labels indicating they were made with genetically modified ingredients are coming soon to a grocery store near you. But what are the implications of GMO labeling for the parts of the food industry that the public seldom sees? A panel discussion on the issue, “GMO Labeling and the U.S. Food System,” at 10-11 a.m. Sept. 20 at the Farm Science Review, will feature several AEDE experts.
