In this webinar groups funded via US EPA’s Sustainable Materials Management projects share lessons learned from implementing two distinct approaches to reducing food waste and diverting it from landfills.

    The Master of Applied Economics (MAE) program is now accepting applications for Fall 2022. The MAE program is a two-semester professional degree that provides students with practical training in applied economics, focusing on core economic theory and cutting-edge quantitative methods. Graduates of the MAE program are equipped with applied economic techniques such as program evaluation, cost benefit analysis and econometric modeling.

    Adoption by the US of “power-based” bargaining led to agricultural import commitments by China under the Phase 1 Trade Agreement.  Contracting directly over market access is superficially appealing, but evaluating whether China has met its import commitments must control for other shocks to demand and supply.
