Retail Market Analysis - Central Business Districts

Communities throughout Ohio are struggling to maintain a vital economic mix in their central business districts. Recognizing that business clusters can be a key ingredient for improving local economic development, many communities would like to achieve the ‘right mix’ of downtown businesses that can attract people and create a vibrant central business district, but are unsure of what actions, policies and organizations can help them achieve these goals.

The Central Business Districts: Measures of Success program identifies proven strategies for strengthening local retail and service business development in the central business district.  This program provides the opportunity for Ohio communities to reference and potentially implement these successful strategies.
