The following datasets are provided for research and additional analysis. Each data set includes all townships in Ohio, geographic ID and County FIPS ID. 

• Township Population: 1960 to 2000

• Township Population Change by Decade 1960 to 2000

• Township Land Area and Population Density 1960 to 2000 (Land Area in Square Miles, Density is Number of Persons per Square Mile)

• Township Land Cover from the Multi-Regional Land Characteristics Consortium (MRLC): early 1990's

• County Land Cover/Use (ACRES) from the National Resource Inventory: 1982, 1987, 1992 and 1997

• County Land Cover/Use Change (ACRES and %) from the National Resource Inventory: 1982, 1987, 1992 and 1997

• Townships dissolved or abolished 1960 to 2000

• Reference: County FIPS Codes
