Thanks again to all those who showed interest in the Seed Grant Competition. Please remember the EPI will be holding another Seed Grant Competition in the Autumn Quarter of 1999.

SPRING WORKSHOP SERIES A SUCCESS

The spring workshop series covered a wide variety of environmental policy and research issues currently being addressed by Ohio State faculty and departments. Thanks to all who attended - we hope to see all of you again for the next workshop series.

SCHOLARS-IN-RESIDENCE AND VISITING SPEAKERS

The EPI has funding for scholars-in-residence and visiting speakers for the 1999-2000 academic year. Scholars-in-residence are recognized scholars in environmental policy, who are hosted by EPI for periods of two to six weeks in residence at Ohio State. Visiting speakers are required to be at Ohio State for a minimum of three days, in order to assure access to all interested EPI members.

Any faculty member, who knows individuals qualified for scholar-in-residence or visiting speaker, can send a one page proposal to the EPI. The proposal should detail the individual's qualifications as well as their potential contributions to the environmental policy community at Ohio State.

Please send proposals to:
