The Ohio Cash Price Database

The Ohio State University Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics has maintained local cash price series for 10 regions in Ohio since 1980. The data collection was originally begun by Dr. Dean Baldwin, and is now maintained by Dr. Matt Roberts.

These price series are used to construct the basis worksheets available at this page.

The Ohio Cash Price Database contains cash prices and basis for 10 of the 11 regions in Ohio (no data is available for region 9). Thursday cash, futures and basis prices are available since 1981. To obtain prices, click on the region desired below. In order to save the file, right click on the link and choose "save file as...". The file will be downloaded to your computer and can be opened in any spreadsheet or word-processing application. If you have any problems, please contact Matt Roberts.
