There are data from 400 individuals. Each individual contains 62 observations (1 for each of the 62 beaches). In total, the data set contains 24,800 (400x62) observations on 15 variables. They are:
price: trip cost plus time cost
lglth: length of beach in miles
bwalk: boardwalk present=1
amuse: amusement park near beach=1
privat: private or limited access beach=1
park: State, Federal Park or wildlife refuge=1
wide: wide beach (=1 if width > 200 feet)
narrow: narrow beach (=1 if width <= 75 feet)
acity: =1 if Atlantic City beach
surf: good surfing location=1
hrise: presence of high rise buildings=1
parkwi: part of the beach has a park within=1
facil: restroom facilities available=1
prkng: parking available at beach=1
dtrip: number of day trips to beach
