Dr. Graham is part of the Rural Finance Program. Primary research interests are the interaction between financial markets and development in developing countries with special emphasis on the performance of formal and informal rural financial agents in these societies. Recent work includes analysis of the impact of Russian Federation policy and regulatory action on microfinance organizations and their clienteles. His work in Africa has emphasized the contract design of different banks, non-governmental organizations and savings, and credit cooperatives in low-income countries are also an important dimension of international work by Graham and others. Graham 's teaching focuses on international economics and development. He retired in 2001 but he and his students are still involved in research on four continents. | ||||||
